How we met
Seated next to each other at a supper club with one focaccia left. We argued about the last slice, then split it anyway.

The sapling
We planted an olive tree in a pot on the balcony and named it after the farm we kept dreaming out loud about.

At the end of a long Sunday lunch, between the coffee and the last of the light, one of us asked - and the other said yes.
