Our Years
Thirty-five years and still sparkling.
It started over a shared plate on a Tuesday and it has not really quietened down since. Here is the short version, in the order it happened.
1989
A tapas bar on a Tuesday
Two stools, one plate of olives, and a conversation that ran well past closing.
1991
The courthouse at eleven
Nine minutes, two witnesses, and lunch afterwards at the same little bar.
1998
The year everything changed
A new city, a job that fell through, and a promise we kept saying out loud until it was true.
2009
The move to the harbour
A flat above the water with a kitchen far too small for the number of people we invite.
2026
Still pouring
Thirty-five years in, and the good glasses still come out on an ordinary Thursday.
